Tip of the Day: While I've been on my minimoon in Las Vegas, I've spent a fair share of my time poolside in a bikini. Have any of you ever thought about how hilarious it is that we work so hard to look and feel our best up to taking a tris, then we get to our destination and begin enjoying some more treats, we find ourselves bloated in that bikini we worked so hard to look bomb.com in. If you've been there, you're certainly not alone! This past week, I've found a few unexpected things to bloat my belly, so I wanted to share in case you'd like to limit these items when you're on your next in a bikini!
(2) SODIUM SPIKES: Restaurant meals are often high in sodium, which can contribute to the bloating feeling especially is you're used to a lower-sodium diet like I am. A nice sweat session is my favorite way to release that excess sodium.
(3) CARBONATED DRINKS: Finally, the last oddity I found to bloat my bikini body belly was a soda. Carbonated drinks can cause gas to get trapped in the belly, so I quickly learned to avoid fizzy drinks. Instead, water with added cucumber, lemon or lime is a go-to refreshing alternative of mine!
Limit These 3 Things for a Bloat-Free Bikini Body:
(1) FRUIT: I thought ordering fruit for a snack would be a healthy option; however, fruit is a carbohydrate, naturally taking in water, which may lead to a bloated belly and did in my case!(2) SODIUM SPIKES: Restaurant meals are often high in sodium, which can contribute to the bloating feeling especially is you're used to a lower-sodium diet like I am. Soaking up the last of our Las Vegas mini-moon as we head back home tomorrow. I'm secretly a little excited to get back and to our normal routine, which hasn't been "normal" for several weeks!
